The Blomidon Naturalists Society is a field naturalists club centered around the eastern Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia.. Members live mostly in Kings County, West Hants, and Eastern Annapolis Counties. We began in 1974 and at present have about 250 family and single members. All of our activities are open to the public.

The primary objective of the BNS is to encourage and develop in its members and the public, an understanding and appreciation of nature which is interpreted broadly and includes the rocks, plants, animals, water, air and stars.

We meet in the evenings for informative and entertaining talks once a month on the third Monday. (execept in July and August) Our field trips are scheduled irregularly but we usually have a couple every month except in the winter.

We have been active in several natural history projects over the years.
